The first ad that profoundly moved me was Apple\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4oAB83Z1ydE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1984 Think Different ad<\/a>. While at Aucland, I did my best to provide creative freedom to our advertising team at CLM\/BBDO. They ended up creating an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Gu9Fxci0yOs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amazing ad<\/a> that was both creative \u2013 so much so that it won the Silver Lion in Cannes in 2000 &#8211; and commercially successful.<\/p>\n<p>Despite rumors of its demise, creativity is alive and kicking. For Thanksgiving I was sent the most <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msn.americangreetings.com\/view.pd?i=382219626&amp;m=1652&amp;rr=y&amp;sou\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">creative greeting card<\/a> I had ever seen.
